the bell's annual charity sale - sunday 9 october and monday 10 october 2011

it was with great sadness that we heard the tragic news of the death of the wonderful and extremely talented debbie hamer.  our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this terribly sad time.  debbie was a good friend and her corner shop designs was one of our favourite and regular stalls.  anyone who saw her rails of intricately sewn and creative clothes could only marvel at her talent.  we shall miss debbie very much - she was one in a million.

this year's sale raised more than £3,400 which is a fantastic amount and will be divided between our chosen charities the dorothy hospice in bath and breast cancer haven in hereford.  we would like to thank everyone who participated in the charity sale and to all who came to shop and who were so generous in buying a record amount of raffle tickets.
