the restaurant at the bell at skenfrith has won many awards for its food, including 2 aa rosettes.

our a la carte menu changes every six to eight weeks and offers locally-sourced seasonal food, much from our kitchen garden.  we have also now introduced the kitchen garden lunch menu which offers a set menu (priced at £18 for two-courses and £22 for three-courses) and is changed every week which together with the daily changing specials board gives you a great choice! on sundays, we have a set lunch menu (also priced at £22 for two-courses and £26 for three-courses).

special dietary requirements can normally always be met (please let us know of these in advance) and we offer a special menu for children with meals from the organic food specialist miniscoff. children are most welcome (although we regret that under 8s are not allowed in the restaurant in the evenings) but we can offer them their own special supper from 5.30pm to 6.30pm.

in good weather, guests can eat outside on the garden terrace.  private parties are most welcome by prior arrangement and we have a lovely room which can be reserved - see scrolling photos of this and the restaurant.   we recommend booking for all occasions to avoid disappointment.   we are about 15 minutes from monmouth, 20 minutes from abergavenny, 25 minutes from hereford, 40 minutes from bristol, 50 minutes from birmingham and three hours from london (traffic allowing). to make a booking call us on 01600 750235.
